A Fabric conditioner (or softener) is typically applied to the washing machine during the rinse cycle. In contrast, fabric softeners can be considered as a kind of laundry aid after treatment. Since softeners frequently occur in the form of an emulsion, soaps are commonly used in the early formulations as emulsifiers. Usually, the emulsions are opaque, milky fluids. Microemulsions are, however, also found where hydrophobic droplets are much smaller. The benefit of microemulsions is that smaller particles penetrate the fibers. The mix of cationic and nonionic surfactants is often used as an emulsifier by manufacturers. A polymeric system, an emulsion polymer, is another approach. Fabric softener imparts antistatic properties to the fabrics so that electrostatic charges are prevented on synthetic fibers, eliminating in turn fabric sticking, cracking, and dust attraction during handling and wear. Fabric softeners also simplify the ironing of fabrics and reduce the wrinkles of clothing. Furthermore, the drying times are reduced so that energy is saved if the washing is softened. Direction For Use :
- Fill a bucket with water. You should use the lowest possible temperature to wash more than one item of clothes or add hot water as you go. Also, ensure that the color group (e.g., white dresses, dark clothes) is washed to avoid dye transmission.
- Add your fabric softener as instructed on the label. Make sure that it has completely dissolved into the water.
- Put clothes one by one in the water. Rub the fabrics against each other carefully and stir until clean. Please soak clothes with stains for up to half an hour.
- Drain the soapy water and re-fill with fresh water in the bucket. Shake your dress in the water to remove the soap and rinse your dress thoroughly.
- Water drain and re-fill again. Put the correct amount of fabric softener (1/2 cap for up to 10 clothes) in the bucket.
- Add your clothes to the bucket for about 5-10 minutes after washing detergent.
- Clean and dry the garments. Do not rinse in the fabric conditioner after soaking clothes.
